What is Manual Osteopathy?

Manual osteopathy is a gentle hands on therapy aimed at bring the body back to balance.

There are many ailments osteopathy helps to alieve including:  

  • Joint pain (back, neck, hip, knee, shoulder)
  • Chronic Pain
  • Acute Pain
  • Whiplash, MVA’s
  • Sciatica
  • Headaches
  • Digestion issues
  • Anxiety, Depression
  • Carpel Tunnel, Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow

The principles of manual osteopathy are:

  1. The body is a unit; the person is a unit of body, mind, and spirit.

  2. The body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing, and health maintenance.

  3. Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated.

  4. Rational treatment is based upon an understanding of the basic principles of body unity, self-regulation, and the interrelationship of structure and function.



Please note Renata is currently undergoing her studies to become a massage therapist and is currently not registered. She incorporates facial release and deep tissue massage techniques without the use of oil or lotion.  A relaxation massage using general Swedish massage techniques for decreasing stress and muscle tension is also available upon request.
